Ages: 11 to 15 years old
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Times: 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Cost: $65.00 monthly tuition

Class Overview
Concepts of : Courtesy, self respect, self discipline, controlling personal environment.
Calisthenics: That stress basic techniques, endurance, strength, co-ordination.
Forms: Beginning through advanced, (Bunkai) Practical application of techniques.
Free Sparring: Stressing control of both physical and emotional, proper technique, speed. power, and respect for partners.
Tournament Competition: Sportsmanship, achievement, dedication, aspiration, tournament etiquette.
Self Defense: Defense of peer, environmental and social pressures, practical and advanced street defense, personal safety, defense against weapons.
Submission Fighting: Ground defense, pressure points, joint locks, throws and take downs.
This class does include more detailed explanations of the lethal aspects of the application of specific techniques used in self defense, and the responsibility factors and risk involved with those aspects. Caution is stressed with students.
Class Highlights
Chanbarra: Samurai sport and combative padded weapon training. Teaching long and short sword technique. Fast paced and exciting. Quickly develops muscle memory, speed and balance. Also used as a tournament event.
Weapons: Training is reserved for intermediate rank (purple) and above.
