Students dropped off $180.00 worth of groceries to the National Bank of Arizona Donation box for the Prescott Valley Yavapai Food bank. The donation was made possible by students giving back a percentage of the Kick-A-Thon funds that they raised for the Nationals team.

Students return home from National Championships with 28 top four wins, Nine of those were National Champion Titles.

Students compete at the Arizona State Championships and Capture three of the five Grand Champion titles. Shihan Alex Morris Captured Two Black Belt Grand Champion Titles. One for Kata and one for Kumite. Green belt, Tye Garcia captured the Youth Grand Champion Kata Prize

Three Shinpu-Ren Yavapai College Students Compete at The U.S.K.A World Karate Championships in Dallas Texas. Between them they brought home Five World Champion Titles, Six second place, Three Thirds and one Fourth place.

Shihan Alex and Sensei Travis were honored to participate in the World Championships Grand Champion Kata Bunkai Demonstration. The team did an outstanding job, and helped their competitor to capture the coveted World Kata Grand Champion Title. Video can be seen on the competition page.

Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Karate Class has a new Home
As of July the Town of Prescott Valley Parks and Recreation Karate Program will be holding classes in the Shinpu-Ren Dojo facility. This will provide access to all of the equipment and improve student training all around. Sign up at the Prescott Valley Civic Center and get KICKIN’ today!
